About the Committee

The Employee Engagement Steering Committee (EESC) was formed in 2015 to play a steering role in employee engagement, with a view to continually improve SMU's overall employee engagement.

The various clubs and initiatives

The Employee Engagement Steering Committee at SMU oversees several initiatives aimed at enhancing employee well-being and community spirit:

  1. Employee Engagement Ambassadors: Act as liaisons to drive engagement activities.
  2. Work on Wellness, Wellness on Work (WOW): Promotes workplace wellness through various programs.
  3. University Social Club: Fosters social interaction among staff through events and networking opportunities.

These clubs and initiatives work collaboratively to create a positive and connected work environment.
