About the Employee Engagement Steering Committee (EESC)

The Employee Engagement Steering Committee (EESC) was formed in 2015 to play a steering role in employee engagement, with a view to continually improve SMU's overall employee engagement.  

Chaired by Hugh Edmiston (Senior Vice President, Administration), the members of the EESC are:

1. Terence Tan, Vice President, Office of HR & Faculty Administration
2. Christopher Chew, Director, Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing
3. Tan Hwee Hoon, Associate Prof of Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources
4. Lim Wee Pin, Director, Office of Business Improvement
5. Neeta Lachmandas, Executive Director, Institute of Service Excellence
